Keeping Fees Low
Our first priority and goal is to keep participant fees low and affordable. It is an ongoing struggle as the monthly fees paid, cover the basic operating costs of the houses. There is little left for those unforeseen expenses such as fixing appliances, plumbing/electrical needs or other home owner responsibilities. To date we have been fortunate to have donations to cover extra expenses but would like to not rely on donations so heavily.
We currently have 3 homes that can house up to 14 men.
There is a current waitlist for House on the Rock.
The design of one of our houses allows for an easy addition of rooms. The addition of these rooms will be a relatively inexpensive way for us to accommodate more men in the very near future.
The savings program for participants completing the program
The biggest obstacle for participants who have completed the program is having the financial means to start a life away from the program. With additional funding we can implement the savings program which would provide up to $3,000 to participants upon completion of the program for a fresh start.
We are looking to start the above projects by March of 2024
No donation is too small.
